All a CL should be and more. Excellent pre arrival communications from the owners, directions to site from all angles, secure access well signposted, Owner welcomed us as we were pitching up ensuring we had everything we needed, and knew where everything was. Yes there is a quiet hum from the nearby A46 but we stopped hearing it after about 15 minutes, certainly not an issue enough to affect our stay. Dog walk around the owners fields amounting to a couple of miles all in all a fantastic site and all this within a half hour of our home, now that’s a Brucie Bonus.

Outstanding place

This is the best CL site in Lincolnshire in our opinion, we just feel at home when we go their ,the area, the location, the peace & quiet, the owners Nicola & Richard are amazing & very accommodating, it is just perfect for everything, well worth a visit to see for yourself it ticks all the boxes for us thank you.

Fantastic, well run CL, lovely personal greeting from the owners, everything required for a fantastic quiet break. Brilliant site for a quick overnight whilst en route further afield, exploring nearby Lincoln and Newark or , like us, a 2 night rest days from work chill with the dogs.

Lovely site will visit again

Fantastic site. This was our 1st trip out in our new to us motorhome. We thought we would try something nowhere not too far away. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely new year break

Stayed four nights over new year. flat hard standing gravel pitches with plenty of room. Water and grey waste to each pitch, but water tap did freeze over on last morning but it was very cold, plenty of information in small hut, walks around fields direct from site, electric prices have gone up from last year but hasn’t everyone’s, still only used approx £5.00 per day but as it was extremely cold over the new year period and we had to use a lot especially when gas bottle ran out prior to last day, serves me right for not taking a bigger one in winter lol. After first two nights road noise is bearable when you get used to it. Nicola is very sociable and a pleasure to visit the site. Hoping to return again in the summer.

Wonderful Site.

What a gem this CL site is , we stayed here for 2 nights the beginning of December and visited Lincoln. The site is only 15 mins drive into Lincoln. The site is well thought out and has all the facilities you need . One or two reviews have commented on the close proximity of the A46 but we had 2 very peaceful nights and hardly heard any traffic noise. We will definably be back in 2026 . Perfection!

I can only endorse every other 5* review of Skybarn CL. It encompasses everything a CL should strive to attain. So thank you to Nicola for her incredible efforts to provide this site in order for us to enjoy Lincoln and the surrounding area attractions and then return to peace and tranquility. Must also mention the fantastic attention to detail on making dogs so welcome as well. Highly recommend Skybarn CL.

5* CL

It’s not a surprise that Skybarn made the shortlist for CL of the Year, it has just about everything that you’d need. I don’t need to list the facilities because all of them are well documented in the CL listing. The site is well laid out with plenty of space for each pitch and is maintained to a very high standard and the security is very reassuring with the code operated gates. Nicola, the owner, has thought through every aspect of caravanning and this is evident when you come to use any of the facilities. Prior to arrival you receive an email telling you just about everything about the site and the local area, it’s very comprehensive and must have taken a lot of effort to compile. I have marked the ‘Peace and Tranquility’ section as 4* because of the proximity of the A46 that does produce traffic noise. On the upside, that proximity of the road is great for ‘getting’ to places. It should come as no surprise that I highly recommend this CL and thank you Nicola for your, not insignificant efforts, to ensure a trouble free stay for Members.
