Had been wanting to try this site for a while but it's a long way from where we live. We were touring the UK and nearing Lincolnshire just as Nicola advertised a 3 night cancellation. We snapped it up and weren't sorry we did. Very easy towing access so no problem for larger units. Information including gate code provided in advance in what is probably one of the best digital guides we've had, full of information. You pitch in an available pitch on arrival, there was only one pitch free when we arrived but we were happy with it and would have been happy with any of them. They're all well spaced, plenty of room for unit and awning on hardstanding and you can park your car on the grass. No shade on pitches but because of the space you can move cars around the van. Elsan point and refuse very close to pitches so no long hauls as is info hut. You take electric reading on arrival and departure and fill out a form and pay for what you use (unless you forget to do it on departure like we did and got a very polite reminder from Nicola - sorry). The 2.5 mile dog walk around the crop fields is great, ours loved it and was nice to be able to give them a decent walk early when it was cool. Lots of nice walks nearby and we found lots of nice river swimming spots for the dogs. We didn't eat out as we'd taken all food with us but pub recommendations in guide and supermarkets galore nearby. Some road noise from the A46 if the wind is in the wrong direction but nothing which bothered us unduly. We didn't actually get to visit Lincoln Castle or cathedral as it was too warm to take the dogs in. We would definitely recommend and if this was closer to home for us would be a favourite weekender

Brilliant fully services hard standing pitches, extremely clean, grass mown, little information shed with everything in it even chairs to borrow. Nicola came to see that we had everything we need, she was very pleasant and helpful quiet site well worth a visit.

If you like tranquility, relaxation this is the place for you. Been here a couple of nights and is very nice. The site is just on the edge of a farm. Can take the dog for a walk up through the crops to the local village pub. Only one miner down side is you get a bit of noise of the a46, but you soon get used to it.

What a fabulous CL, fully serviced, flat pitches. Warm welcome , the dog walk around the site was excellent, but even if you didn’t have a dog the walk is great, lots of wildlife in the area , plenty of places to visit, or just relax at the fabulous CL. We will definitely return .

Fabulous site. Will definitely be returning. Immaculately kept and Nicola has thought of everything! Well laid out hardstanding and fully serviced pitches. Electric paid on meter so can choose not to use it if you wish. Great recycling facilities and information hut. Beautiful rural outlook. Lovely private dog walking. Convenient for A46 and really easy access with secure code entry gate. What's not to like...? :-)

Just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you so much for an amazing stay.

The site is beautiful and well placed for Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

The information hut was the best we have encountered, and the dog walk from site was perfect (no roe deer), we saw lots of other wildlife though.

The highlight of our stay was watching the Red arrows practice for the King's Coronation.

Bentley says thank you for throwing his toys and he enjoyed himself too.

We will return again.

Thank you so much.

Fantastic CL site where you receive a warm welcome. An excellent and informative guide is sent via e-mail with local details and everything you need to know about the site is sent prior to arrival. Fully serviced pitches that are well spaced, an accessible dog walk around the owners fields is available too. A nice walk to a local pub which serves great food and an easy walk to Whisby nature park. Much thought and care has gone into this site and it’s highly recommended.

I’ve been here 3 times. It has excellent flat hardstanding pitches and well cared for grounds. Shops nearby and a decent pub in the village less than 2 miles away. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending
